Entertaining While Remodeling

We absolutely love entertaining! But, the entire time we have lived here we have been under major reconstruction. This fact would leave many of you to assume that we don’t do much entertaining here.

Nope. It’s not true.

Even with ceilings ripped up, no flooring and a single room available to hang out in for months and months, we have always entertained. The Sangria was delightful…We used two jars of the Peach Pit and Peel Syrup I made last year, a box of red wine, fresca, and a mix of fresh and frozen fruit.

I couldn’t resist adding my girly DIY touch to the tables. Baby food jars, garden twine, beans, flowers and tealights make a pretty cute and cheap center piece. Although the beans in the water swelled up the next day ha!

And our newest additions to the garden, the two beautiful tiki torches mom got us, worked wonderfully to help keep the bugs at bay until it really started getting dark. I have always loved the fancy metal tiki torches but they
