I’m Dani and my husband is Kevin and you have found our little corner of the internet!
We currently work for a non-profit ministry about an hour outside of Atlanta, Georgia….which is right around 3000 miles away from both our families in Oregon. We rent a 1950′s house on close to an acre which we are slowly renovating and turning into an urban homestead.
After converting me from my picky eating habits when we were dating in 2007 we have spent our years cooking and eating lots of good food together. We are the kind of people who go on trips just to try new foods and spend our date night money on fancy groceries so we can try new things.
We absolutely love entertaining and building community. Even though our life (and house) are always under construction there is never a lack of good food, good music, good beer and friends around our home.
We welcomed our oldest son Noah into our hearts in September 2011 and our life has never been the same:
He definitely keeps Mommy and Daddy on our toes:
We are currently expecting another baby boy in June of 2013:
When we aren’t keeping up with the farm and the kiddo’s we enjoy reading good books together, traveling, hiking, camping, hunting, rock climbing, and riding horses to name a few.
