Kitchen Love

I know we already gave you a quick run down over hereĀ about some of the kitchen sprucing we have been doing but I really wanted to bring it all back into focus for you guys (and mostly myself) of where we currently are and where we are going.   1. Paint colors: Top half of the walls: Mesa Tan (it looks way oranger than this in some light) Trim/Belly Band: Java (love this color!) Kevin and Dani’s Eggcellent Adventure: Part 1

So it's finally happened again! The last time I was a finalist in a competition I was about 9 years old, and it was Halloween. I colored my pirate, or maybe it was a pre-Harry Potter witch riding a broom... What ever it was my house painting skills apparently had already been developed enough at that tender young age to keep my creatively chosen colors inside the lines better than about 90% of the other nine-year-olds in Bend who bothered to take the time to submit a coloring to our local … [Read more...]

Pork served in a green sauce wrapped in a flour tortilla … [Read more...]

It was a beautiful glorious sight to behold. This stock photo doesn't do it justice at all. I will update it when I make it again soon. But you can imagine it with me: Here you go: White dessert plate decorated with chocolate sauce. Gingersnap crust topped with creamy, … [Read more...]

Corn Nuggets

We had these amazing little things called Corn Nuggets at Justin's Place in Thomaston, GA. Kevin called them Corn Fritters when they came out and they were delicious, hot fried little globs of batter with corn inside them. They were good. Really good. I want some....now. :) … [Read more...]
