Thick slices of multigrain bread are soaked in eggs and a splash of eggnog for a savory fall breakfast that won't leave you on a complete sugar high.

  • 6 pieces hearty whole grain bread
  • 6 eggs
  • ⅓ cup eggnog
  • 4 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 4 teaspoons vanilla
  • ½ teaspoon nutmeg
  • ½ teaspoon allspice
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • Butter
  • Real Maple Syrup
  1. Mix eggs, eggnog and spices together.
  2. Preheat skillet and use olive oil or butter to grease pan.
  3. Dip each piece of bread into egg mixture.
  4. Fry until golden brown on each side.
  5. Serve with butter and syrup.
