Slow Cooker Beef Tortas

These slow cooker beef tortas are such an easy dinner or an easy appetizer recipe! Make them with slider buns for the perfect super bowl recipe, the guys go nuts over them!

Ingredients

  • 1 onion chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 24 ounces thinly sliced beef my store sells it vacuum sealed in12 oz packages in fresh meat area
  • 1 quart beef stock
  • 1 tablespoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • Serve with La Brea Bakery Telera Slider Rolls and your choice: refried beans guacamole lettuce, tomato, sliced red onion, cilantro, fresh sliced jalapeños, salsa and hot sauce.

Instructions

  • 1. Add onion, garlic, beef, and stock to slow cooker. Cook for 4 hours on high or 8 hours on low.
    2. Butter and toast rolls. Top half with refried beans and a half with guacamole. Add other toppings and meat.
    3. Serve with dipping sauce on the side if desired or plenty of salsa or hot sauce.
