This healthy chai latte is easy to make 100% raw and is such a great caffeine free alternative to the sugar filled lattes! I love making this and love that my kiddos can enjoy it with me too!
1cupalmond milk for 100% raw be sure to make your own almond milk
1date
1teaspooncacao powder or unsweetened cocoa powder****
1/2teaspooncinnamon
1/8teaspoonginger
1/8teaspooncardamom
pinchnutmeg
pinchcloves
Instructions
1. If desired warm almond milk gently on the stovetop (keep it under 115 degrees to stay truly raw!) 2. Add all ingredients to a blender and blend on high for 40 seconds.
3. Serve Hot. Enjoy!
Notes
***Cacao powder does have a bit of caffeine as well as other stimulants including theobromine so omit for 100% caffeine free but it also has a ton of health benefits and antioxidants.It doesn't bother me at this tiny amount but test it out for yourself and see what works for your body*You can use unsweetened cocoa powder here as well if you can't find cocao powder.Cocao powder can be found at most health food stores or order on Amazon here.
