Healthy Chai Latte Recipe

This healthy chai latte is easy to make 100% raw and is such a great caffeine free alternative to the sugar filled lattes! I love making this and love that my kiddos can enjoy it with me too!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup almond milk for 100% raw be sure to make your own almond milk
  • 1 date
  • 1 teaspoon cacao powder or unsweetened cocoa powder****
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon ginger
  • 1/8 teaspoon cardamom
  • pinch nutmeg
  • pinch cloves

Instructions

  • 1. If desired warm almond milk gently on the stovetop (keep it under 115 degrees to stay truly raw!)
    2. Add all ingredients to a blender and blend on high for 40 seconds.
  • 3. Serve Hot. Enjoy!

Notes

***Cacao powder does have a bit of caffeine as well as other stimulants including theobromine so omit for 100% caffeine free but it also has a ton of health benefits and antioxidants.
It doesn't bother me at this tiny amount but test it out for yourself and see what works for your body*
You can use unsweetened cocoa powder here as well if you can't find cocao powder.
