Easy Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe

These cookies are simple and easy to mix together with ingredients you probably have on hand!

Ingredients

  • 3 cups whole wheat flour I highly recommend King Arthur flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup butter softened
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup chocolate chips or M & M's Reese's chips, etc
  • 1 cup nuts

Instructions

  • 1. Preheat oven to 375.
    2. Cream butter and sugars.
    3. Mix in eggs and vanilla.
    4. Sprinkle salt, powder, and soda over wet ingredients. Combine.
    5. Add dry mix one to two cups at a time.
    6. Add chocolate chips and nuts.
    7. Bake 10-13 minutes. They will look very wet still if you want them moist and chewy. If you cook til they look dry they will be crunchier.
    8. Let rest on baking sheet til setup and then transfer to a paper towel-lined tray to finish cooling.
