Are you looking for a festive and cheerful drink that adds a pop of color and a burst of flavor to any occasion? Today I’m going to share with you a delightful recipe for a Cranberry Champagne Cocktail that’s as lovely to look at as it is to sip.

Whether it’s a holiday gathering, a celebratory toast, or just because you’re in the mood for something bubbly and refreshing, this cocktail is the perfect way to add elegance to any party.

So, let’s get mixing!

Remember, the key to a good cocktail is to balance the flavors. You want enough lime to cut through the sweetness but not so much that it takes over. Play around with the amounts to find your perfect mix.

Ingredients:

  • 1 oz Cranberry Juice Cocktail – This is going to give you the beautiful color and the tartness that complements the bubbly.
  • 1 Lime Wedge – For that zesty kick and extra layer of flavor.
  • 4 oz Champagne or Non-Alcoholic Sparkling Wine – Whether you like it boozy or prefer a mocktail, the choice is yours.
  • Cranberries for Garnish – Adds a bit of fancy, don’t you think?
  • Rosemary for Garnish – It’s not just for savory dishes; it adds aroma and a touch of elegance.
  • Mint for Garnish – Because every drink could use a little fresh green.

Instructions:

  1. Prepare Your Flute:
  2. Add Cranberry Juice Cocktail:
    • Pour 1 oz of cranberry juice cocktail into the flute. It’s the base of our cocktail that’ll give you that delightful burst of tangy flavor and go.
  3. Squeeze That Lime:
    • Take the lime wedge and give it a good squeeze over the cranberry juice. Just a bit; we’re not making lemonade here. Drop in a fresh wedge if you’re feeling extra.
  4. Top with Bubbles:
    • Time for the star of the show – tip the glass and slowly fill the rest of the glass with champagne or your preferred non-alcoholic sparkling wine. Watch those bubbles rise; it’s like magic!
  5. Garnish Galore:
    • Here’s where you can get artsy. Add a few cranberries for a pop of color. Tuck in a sprig of rosemary and maybe a mint leaf or two for that oh-so-festive look and aroma.
  6. The Final Touch:
    • Give it a gentle stir with a cocktail stirrer or just raise your glass, admire your handiwork, and get ready to take the first sip.

Voilà! Your Cranberry Champagne Cocktail is ready to be enjoyed!

What else mixes well with champagne?

A champagne cocktail can be made in a variety of flavors using fruit juices and/or fruit-flavored liqueurs. Such as Grand Marnier or Cointreau. Some champagne cocktail recipes may also call for additional alcohol, such as vodka.

For example, if you add vodka to this cranberry champagne cocktail recipe, you will have a champagne cocktail called a Poinsettia. We use vodka to make our favorite Blackberry Lavender Champagne Cocktail recipe.
