Looking for a quick sweet treat? Dipping fresh and dried fruit into chocolate and sprinkling with a bit of flaky sea salt is the perfect way to finish a meal!

I’m always looking for fun ways to mix up dessert time and I love this trick for making something sweet quickly when there just isn’t time or energy to make something complicated. Not only that these look so fancy when you need one last thing to round out a party table!

Just melt a large chocolate bar of your favorite chocolate for 2-3 minutes at 50% power in your microwave and stir gently until it is melted. Then dip your favorite fruit (we used fresh mandarin oranges, dried mango and dried pineapple here) in the chocolate.
Set them on waxed or parchment paper so they don’t stick to everything and sprinkle with a bit of flakey sea salt. We found that this size of salt flakes was maybe just a tad TOO big though so give them a bit of a crunch up with your fingers before you sprinkle it on.

This kind of salt is easy to find at your local Whole Foods or similar style store or you can order it on Amazon if you can’t find it locally.

If you’ve got kids they love helping dunk the fruit pieces in the chocolate, this is a perfect fun afternoon activity to get ready for dinner.
