How to make a green smoothie?
Green smoothies start with a liquid base and then your solid ingredients get added bit by bit so as to not overload the blade on all the things it needs to blend up. Start with your spinach first, one cup, then blend. Next comes the fruits, these also need to be blended until smooth. Just pour and serve!
- 2 cups fresh spinach
- 1 banana fresh or frozen (frozen is best)
- 1 cup almond milk
- 1 scoop of protein powder
- 1 tsp lime juice
- Add spinach, almond milk, banana, protein powder, lime juice into a blender.
- Blend until creamy.
- Pour into a glass garnish with mint and lime, enjoy!
